Hiking at Point Reyes Seashore, CA

The rocky shore of Arch Rock

The 'Arch' shape

Overlooking Pacific Ocean

The rocky rocky road

This weekend was another adventurous trip for me; Bridget, two of her housemates, Ying and me went for a hike at Point Reyes Seashore National Park, CA. It takes about an hours' drive from Berkeley to reach there, along the long curvy road towards the park. There are many trails in Pt Reyes and we chose the Bear Valley Trail towards Arch Rock. There is a reason for the name 'Arch Rock' - I will post the picture later and you will know the reason why. The trail was pretty easy except for a small cliff where my legs were getting numbed by just looking at how I was gonna crossed through it to reach the bottom of the cliff caused that was our final destination...so I did some rock climbing as well besides hiking on mud and dusty road...with the support from Bridget and Ying, I managed to pull through!!! Another new experience for me indeed! From the Arch Rock, we can see the pacific ocean, and with such a beautiful sunny weather, you can distinguish the different shade of blue colour of the ocean...fabulous view indeed! We hiked for a total of 8 miles...from 11-4pm (including lunch break)...By the time we reached home, we were so 'dusty'! But nothing can beat the satisfying feeling that we completed the mission of this hike!
