Last weekend, we headed off to Yosemite National Park for a hike. The trail that we chose was called the Mist Trail...there is a reason to the name of that trail....it is definitely misty! :-) We hiked for a total of 6 hours, to the top of Vernal falls, then continued on to Nevada Falls, so we hiked to an elevation of about 2000ft! The hike was definitely strenuous but worth the hard work, caused along the hike, the view was spectacular, nothing can defeat how we felt at that moment overlooking the beauty of nature...It is amazing how the formation of the rainbow over the falls under the hot sunlight...just breathtaking....and how we can feel the strong force from the falls. If we are not careful, we can easily be swept away by the strong current of the falls. In between the hikes, we were quite dehydrated, caused at higher elevation, we can feel that we lack of oxygen, so once awhile we will stop and rest until we gained back our energy to hike the rest of the trail. The trail was quite rocky, so in actual fact, we also did some rock climbing as well....I definitely will go back there again for another hike! Being a city person, all these hiking business is very new to me, but after coming here to California, I began to love outdoors, and appreciate what nature is there to offer us...just beautiful.......
