Last weekeend, I went for a short hike to Redwood Regional Park, about 25mins drive south from Berkeley. Although the park is not very well maintained, but the nature there is beautiful, from the redwood trees to small trees to ferns to bushes...Along the hike, there is a change of landscape altogether...pretty amazing...
This park is definitely a place for locals to enjoy a short hike on a nice sunny day, or even for a jog, or walking the dogs. And to take a breather of fresh air, where you can enjoy the greeneries and nice shaded hikes along the diversity of the plants and trees there...Amazing how this park existed right in the city centre. The Bay Area surely have so much nature for the people to enjoy.
