Two of my good friends from Japan decided to go to Hawaii for their vacation after their postgraduate final presentation, and all of us will also meet another friend who is studing in Univ of Hawaii, Manoa. The plan was just 3 wks before our planned date, Feb 19th. So, how did it started....we were online chatting and then right at that moment we decided to meet up in Hawaii, since it is in the mid-location of where we are staying, fair and square was the deal ;) The traveling time was similar either flying from Tokyo or San Francisco. So all 4 of us planned the whole trip through messenger chat like which flight to book, where to meet, renting car, hotel, etc etc...the whole ordeal was really quick and surprisingly it went pretty well :) We allocated duties for one another, which makes things more organized....Usually if this is my usual self, this whole planning will be at least 3 months in advance...but I was pretty satisfied with the whole arrangements done here in this trip, even though at times there was adrenalin rush all over to get the cheap tickets and synchronizing the time for the trip.
So what happened on the whole exciting trip....there are many stories to tell and let me think of where to start....1) all of us were supposed to arrive on the same date....but everyone of us arrived on a different date!!! one after another....strangely but true :) 2) there were so many delays in-between...and I think I learnt to be more patient 3) we were left stranded somewhere when our bus got hit by a car and made a scratch...the driver said 'more good news guys, I hv to stall the bus, company policy.' This kind of experiences made the trip even more interesting, but can be pretty tiring...but nevertheless, all ends well :)
All of us had a great time, but I think the best part was meeting up with each other after 2 years, and catching up news with one another..but somehow...we didnt talk much, the presence of one another tells everything :)
In friendship, we dun hv to express everything in words, the presence, the thought of each other matters a lot. When you think of a friend that had influenced you so much in your life, he/she will be in your heart wherever you go...and you will remember the advise that the person gave you. The friend may be far away in another place, but in actual fact, he/she is right beside you supporting you caused u can hear the voice within that will keep pushing you higher and higher...
It's not the quantity of friends that we have, but the quality of friends...People come and go, but some of them will be placed deep in your mind and soul.

yeah totally agree... friends, we dont need much conversation... as long as the bond is kept ya =) but i wanna see how hawaii looks like...put up some nice pictures here next time ok? glad you are doing great over there too... =p
