We drove down to San Diego on May 22nd at 430pm, reached there about 3am the following day, and slept until noon. After that, we visited Mission Bay Beach, one of the famous beaches in San Diego. Weather was raining and cloudy on that day, but we can see the beach atmosphere in a different perspective, very melancholy yet mysterious at the same time...And surprisingly, the water was pretty warm even though the weather was cold and windy...We played in the water for awhile before heading home. At night, we celebrated Ayeesha's birthday with ample food! I ate so much than usual!!!

The next morning, went for a 4.7 miles jog at Miramar Lake. It has a spectacular view of the city. After that, we went to La Jolla (pronounced as 'La Hoya') beach to have a bbq and played with the water for nearly 2 hours. The waves were very strong and everytime when the waves come, they will push us towards the shore...drank a lot of salty sea water eventually! We managed to see a beautiful sunset on that day, a feeling serenity at the same time...Nature is always wonderful to look at...giving us a sense of calmness....

On the following day, we went snorkelling at La Jolla cove. This is my 2nd time snorkelling since 9 yrs ago during my university trip to Terengganu. Even though we didn't go to deep ocean, the underwater near the cove was satisfying! The ocean is always a mysterious place, and snorkelling is one of the most accessible way to appreciate the underwater for people who doesn't know how to dive.

The next day, we started our trip back to Berkeley at 10am and reached home at 830pm. It was definitely an enjoyable trip where I managed to visit the famous beaches of San Diego, but most of all, I managed to meet new friends, getting to know my friends better, and spent wonderful time with all of them!
