Monterey Market

Last Friday, went to Monterey Market for the 1st time since I came here. It is consider a 'wet' market here where fresh vegetables and fruits can be chosen piece by piece. This reminded me so much of the market back at home, where it is not ready pack and you can take your pick in whatever produce that you want. There were so many choices to choose from and the prices are very reasonable, cheaper than what you can get from other shops. I bought so many types of fruits that day....since I am a fruit lover :)...grapes, cherries, strawberries, and apricots...however this market only opens from Mon-Sat until 7pm...i guessed with such good varieties of products, people will make it a point to go to the market to do their grocery shopping even with the early closing hours.

Oohh...and I started my 2nd week of jogging at one of the lake at Downtown Oakland...jogged for an hour while enjoying the breeze and observing the ducks, geese, seagulls, and pigeons around the lake. Some swimming, waddling, eating, flying, walking and just lazing around on an early Sun morning....wish that I have that kind of lazy weekends :)

p/s...so now my legs are aching!!!....
