Tennessee Valley
On Sat, went out with hostsister, Bridget and another visiting scholar, Ying Hong from China. We met at San Pablo Ave and after that, Bridget drove us across Richmond bridge to Marin Park, north bay. Over here, we took a short hike at Tennesee Valley, where you can see ranches as well as small beaches and lotsa people hiking. After about 1 hour, we decided to adjourn to the next venue, the ever famous golden gate bridge of San Francisco. We drove through Sausalito into golden gate park where we can get a spectacular view of the bridge! After that, we walked on the bridge for about an hour where we headed back to Berkeley at 4th Street to enjoy a cup of tea at Peet's Coffee & Tea. I had a very strong black tea called 'Pride of the Pot', good tea indeed....They serve more than 30 types of tea and coffee! Then we headed back home.
