Lovely cherries

Black cherries

Windmills along the way
This weekend, went to Brentwood for cherry picking. Its about an hours' drive from Berkeley and the journey there was very scenic, full of windmills overlooking the horizons! Cherry picking was not as easy as it looks...well...since I am picking each and every one of the cherries individually, the task was to pick the perfect cherries!....And to do that...I have to climb a 10ft ladder to reach the position that I want to pick those cherries...and also to shift the ladder around for the perfect reachable position for the juicy cherries!...The reason...this weekend was the last season for cherries so those which were located below were picked by other customers...so the remaining good ones were located on the higher ground. I will definitely have aches all over tomorrow!! Now I really appreciate those fruit pluckers around that does all the work! No wonder fruits are expensive, look at the labour work they put in picking and sorting the quality of the fruits!
