BBQ at Tilden Park

Part of the BBQ food

YUMMY!!!

The BBQ Spillway site

The small beach at Lake Anza

We had a BBQ yesterday at Tilden Park, a state park here in Berkeley area. We are lucky that there is such a beautiful natural park here in the vicinity of Berkeley where it is accessible to the people living in the Bay Area. You can see many people hike, picnic, BBQ or just relaxing while enjoying the greeneries around...

The place where we BBQ was called 'Spillway', wonder why it was called that name...it is located beside Lake Anza, and surprisingly this lake has a small beach! You can see people swimming in the lake and kids playing with the sand...well..not to be missed were people sunbathing as well....when there is sun, you are sure to see people getting some tan!

Back to the BBQ event...we had so much food!!! There were chicken, and lamb kebabs, hamburgers, pumpkins, red peppers, taufu, portobello mushrooms, potatoes, paneer, etc... I dunno how much I had eaten but I didn't even eat dinner when I went back home...hehehe...another reason for that...I had Cold Stone Creamery ice-cream after the BBQ event was over - a treat from a good friend:) It was really a good outing and I slept like a pig that night!
