Spontaneous planning

Usually I am a very planned person but yesterday was the most spontaneous thing I ever did in my entire life! An old friend from Japan came down to San Francisco and wanting to meet up with each other, we decided that I should spend a night at San Francisco so that we can catch up with our latest news...So, here I am, got the call at 3.30pm, cycled back home from lab in full speed, pack an overnight bag and boom...here I am in San Francisco by 4.45pm! I was very happy to see this friend of mine...walked around the town, ate Chinese food and most of all, able to spend quality time and talking Manglish, Hokkien and Cantonese!...This makes me miss home even more! Yeah..tonight will be watching F1 race at my labmate's place...will be a fun outing as well......
